SUMMARY:
The purpose of this case study is to report on preliminary data using a non-contact, selective RF system to evaluate the safety and efficacy for body contouring and circumferential reduction of the abdomen and the love handles volunteers. The energy is emitted by Vanquish(tm) system (produced by BTL Aesthetics). Heat results and is focused on fat and connective tissue layer. The results in first patients show a significant improvement: Three of four subjects showed significant circumferential reduction and no or little side effects, however the method, procedure and study concept needs to be refined.
