SUMMARY:
Many studies have revealed that special nutritional supplements (nutricosmetics) show an efficacy with regards to keep our skin and hair in good health. Additional antioxidants, vitamins, mineral substances etc. may be required to maintain healthy skin and hair, if we cannot get a sufficient amount of nutrients from our daily food. In the development of products for a long-term use it is important to ensure that undesirable side effects are avoided and that they are toxicologically harmless.
